Al-Ghazali and Averroes Questions?

Ghazali's approach to mysticism is appealing because he reconciled reason and logical understanding with mysticism, thereby creating more credibility and appeal for the latter. He actually re-defined Islam broadly from a true mystic's point of view.... creating such depths in theological sciences that were missing until him, and muslim scholars were just relying on Greek Hellenistic philosophers, Ghazali refuted these scholars such as Ibne Rushd, and identified the fallacies of Greek philosophy, and helped establish a new unique identity for Islamic mysticism.
