Why aren't we doing anything or enough about Global Warming/Climate Change?

Because it's like the worst problem in the world right now. And why did we let this happen anyways? We need to balance the natural world with the man made world or else It's gonna kill billions of people, and cause things like severe weather such as Droughts, Hurricanes, Tornados, Floods, Monsoons, Disappearing coastlines. I know some people don't believe in global warming, but isn't it obvious that it's already happening? Here in Canada it's like freezing and it's close to June. Why did we let this happen and why aren't we doing anything about it? Just curious.
