I have a set of Titleist DC1 irons with tri-spec reg shafts and original golf pride half cord grips.?

Why is it that so many want to re shaft clubs when they haven't the slightest inkling why those shafts were matched with the heads and grips in the first place ? If you are moderately successful with the present clubs, re grip them with a softer feeling material. If you think the " new " technology will improve your ability to score, purchase the technology. In the final ysis, the mechanic's ability is what gets the results from the tools, not the other way around.
