My boyfriend is controlling and has anger issues?

Idk if i shud leave him. Hes so controlling but ive been with him for a year so its hard. Hes not even letting me go to my hs tournabout because he cant go. He blows up over the littlest things and he will push me on the couch and tower over me and yells at me. He used to pick me up and pin me down but doesnt really anymore. Im sick of feeling scared of him. I feel defenseless. Plz help. I need support.
